What is E-Paca.com?
At it's heart, E-Paca.com is an online auction
community, centered around alpacas and alpaca-related merchandise. E-Paca.com
was conceived as a means of helping alpaca breeders to jump-start their
marketing programs, and has evolved into a community for uniting alpaca
breeders, fiber artists, spinners, and alpaca enthusiasts of all types.
How is E-Paca.com different from other
alpaca online auction sites?

In sharp contrast to most alpaca auction
communities, E-Paca.com charges no membership fees. This fact
alone makes us an attractive alternative to those other sites. In
addition, E-Paca.com runs auctions all day, every day, all year
long. This ensures we get enough attention from the public and from
the internet search engines to bring a steady stream of clients to
your auctions.

Our listing fees are low. Other sites will
charge hundreds of dollars or more to list your alpacas, and there's
no guarantee your animals will sell. At E-Paca.com, we've made it
very affordable to list your alpacas (or other items). If and when
your reserve price is met, you then pay a modest percentage as a
final value fee (typically 2.2% to 3% of the winning bid on
high-ticket items such as alpacas - for a list of actual auction

E-Paca.com doesn't only auction alpacas. You can
list other items, such as fleece, roving, yarn, sweaters,
stuffed alpaca toys, alpaca collectibles, livestock guardian dogs,
hay and feed, halters, trailers, tools...almost anything. You can
even list services, such as shearing, transport, breedings, seminars
and classes at your ranch. And that's not all - you can even have
your own store on E-Paca.com where site visitors can come and see
all your sale items in one place.

E-Paca.com is marketed to those outside our
industry. Why is this important? Let's face it - our biggest
marketing challenge is to bring in a steady stream of new clientele.
What better way to do that than to market to those who have
expressed interest in alpacas or alpaca products, yet have not yet
become alpaca owners? We seek out and find those potential clients,
and you can help by listing for auction the same items you would
sell in your farm store or at shows and other alpaca events.

You're not limited to auction ads. We also
have a Wanted Ads section. Is there a specific item or animal
you're looking for? Are you hiring? Do you need transport services?
Our Wanted Ads are the perfect place to let everyone know.
How do I get started?
It's easy. First,
register. It's free,
it's easy, and it's private. We won't sell or use your information for
anything not related to your success on this site. Immediately, you'll
be sent a confirmation email. Click on the link in the email, and you'll
be ready to start your first auction. We recommend perusing other
auctions, to stimulate ideas for your own listings.
Photos sell alpacas! The more pictures you upload, the
more bids you're likely to get. If you have histograms, ARI certs, or
other pertinent paperwork, upload those along with your photos. Your
bidders will appreciate having as much information as possible. Consider
uploading photos of your alpaca's bite, fleece, conformation, crias,
ribbons, etc.
We occasionally run special promotions. Check the
Announcements section in the Members Area, as there are often
vouchers available to reduce or eliminate costs related to auction
listings. We do everything we can to make this an affordable way to
market your alpacas and merchandise. If you have a voucher, you'll be
asked for the code upon entering your auction listing.
